the works I do, and far greater than these,” Jesus tells his disciples. That’s
quite an assignment for us as Christian stewards!

cafeteria after all of the morning Masses. Come to the cafeteria and have
breakfast with your fellow parishioners.

Certificates will
be available after all Masses today. Remember that with these certificates you
can help the school. All you have to do is get the certificates. We have
certificates for the major stores and can get
them for most stores. Check this website for a
complete listing: www.glscrip.com. When
you purchase the certificates a percentage of your purchase comes back to the
school.

Matthew. The Bible Study group meets each Sunday beginning with fellowship at 8:30 a.m. Study time is from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. in the Fr. Wright Room. All are welcome

Catholic Home Missions – Next Sunday, our parish will be
taking up a collection for the Catholic Home Missions appeal. This Appeal
supports missions here in the United States. This appeal offers Catholics
across our country a wonderful opportunity to help fellow Catholics practice
their faith in such rugged areas as Alaska, Appalachia, the Deep South, the
Rocky Mountain States the Southwest, Puerto Rico, and island dioceses in the
Pacific and Caribbean. Over 95 cents of every dollar donated to the appeal goes
directly to the missions to keep church doors open, to support pastors in their
priestly ministry, and to provide basic pastoral services like religious
education for children. Please give generously to assist fellow Catholics here
in America. It’s one practical way our parish community can be good stewards
of God’s gifts and make a difference.

Dear Parishioners:
I had to drive to Bloomington for a meeting last week. It
was so wonderful to see the buds on the trees coming out. There was the
beginning of green where there had been just limbs. It was so full of hope.
May this season and time of year bring hope to all of us.
Sincerely,
Fr. Larry Crawford
Pastor
