ST. GABRIEL CHURCH OFFERS “ENGLISH AS 2ND LANGUAGE” CLASSES

Classes to learn English as a second language will be offered at St. Gabriel Catholic Church this fall and winter. The first 12-week session will be held weekly on Sunday mornings 8:45 to 10:30 a.m. beginning September 21 and ending December 14. The second 12-week session will be held weekly on Sunday mornings 8:45 to 10:30 a.m. beginning January 18 and ending April 5. Classes will meet in Room #1 at the church, 6000 West 34th Street. Childcare will be provided if needed. Cost is $20.00 for one 12-week session. Space is limited. ST. GABRIEL CATHOLIC CHURCH BEGINS INFORMATION SERIES

Weekly information sessions about the Catholic faith will be held at St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church, 6000 West 34th Street, beginning Thursday, August 28th, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) program is open to all who are curious about the Catholic faith or are interested in joining the Catholic Church.

Fr. Larry Crawford, Pastor of St. Gabriel Church, said, “We welcome anyone interested in the Catholic faith. It is not necessary to join the church, but we hope all those who come will develop a closer relationship with God.”
