Video of Mass of Appreciation for Father Larry
On December 19, 2008 the students and staff of St. Gabriel School had a surprise for our pastor Father Larry. He thought it was an ordinary weekday school Mass on the last day of school before Christmas Vacation. Instead the children turned it into a special tribute for him beginning with donning masks of his face as he looked throughout the years. They had lots of other special gifts for him including photos of him going back as far as his childhood. Check out this four-part YouTube video of the festivities.
Kindergarten Celebrates Chinese New Year Photos
Our kindergarten class learns all about foreign cultures as they celebrate Chinese New Year complete with traditional Chinese noodles, and a dragon parade around the halls of the school. After the parade each student got a chance to try on the Dragon's head.
Practicing Stewardship
St. Gabriel students learn about stewardship. In these pictures, they are promising their time, talent, and treasure to God. Additionally, St. Gabriel students conducted a "Penny War" to contribute to the Capital Campaign to help build the new church.
