St. Gabriel the Archangel School hosts a variety of quality extracurricular activities in a Christian environment. Below is a partial list of our activities. You may also find information in the Parish Bulletin and/or Friday Memo.

YAC - Youth Activity Committee
YAC - Youth Activity Committee is the sponsoring committee for St. Gabriel's sports program. Sports offered are: Football (boys), Cross Country(boys and girls), Kickball(girls), Basketball(boys and girls), Volleyball(girls), Soccer(boys and girls), and Track(boys and girls). The sports program is open to students in grades 4-8 who are members of the school or parish. Contact the school for more information.

• All players must have a physical prior to playing. If you take the form to your child's doctor, they will fill it out for you.
• All Sports families will be required to sell 6 rolls of trash bags. The sale of these bags helps offset some of the costs during the year. Please sell more if you can.

Directions to schools:

St. Thomas Aquinas
4600 N. Illinois St.
38th Street east to Meridian (5 miles). Turn left on Meridian. Turn Left on 46th St.

St. Thomas More: 1200 N. Indiana St. Mooresville
DLX South to 70 West. 70 West to exit 66 (Mooresville/Plainfield). Turn left at the end of the ramp onto 267. You will travel on 267 almost exactly 3.49 miles. You will turn left at County Line Rd. There is no light or stopsign at the intersection. Just before where you turn, you will see a large lake on your right. At the intersection where you turn, the sign on the left says Co Line. There are two signs on the right side that say Joppa Rd and Hendricks Co Line Rd. There is also a sign on the right that says Welch Lake. After you turn left onto County Line Rd, you will go 0.3 miles to the entrance to St. Thomas More. There is a sign that says St. Thomas More Catholic Church. It's on the right.

Our Lady of Lourdes: 5333 E. Washington St.
65 South to 70 East. Exit at Emerson and turn right. Continue south on Emerson until you get to Washington St. Left on Washington St. It's on the right.

St. Mark: 535 East Edgewood
Take the DLX (formerly known as 465) South to 31 South. South on 31 to St. Mark's. You'll see it on the left.

Holy Cross: 125 N. Oriental
65 South - just past Meridian stay to the right and take exit 111. Continue to stay in the right hand lane so you can take the New York St. exit. Left on New York to Dorman ( just past the RR tracks a street will go straight while NY curves left - that's it). Right on Dorman to Marlowe. Left on Marlowe to Oriental. Right on Oriental. Go past the stop sign and turn left between the buildings to park. Note: Currently, construction will not allow you to turn onto Dorman. Just continue on New York a couple of stoplights to Oriental and turn right.

Central Catholic: 1155 E. Cameron
65 South (stay on 65 South downtown) to Raymond St. (exit 109). At the end of the exit ramp go right and immediately get into the left lane - Shelby St. is only a few feet from the end of the exit ramp! Left on Shelby to Cameron. Left on Cameron. The school is in back of Good Shepherd Catholic Church.

Nativity: 7225 Southeastern Ave.
Take the DLX (formerly known as 465) south to exit 49A (Southeastern Ave.) Left on Southeastern Ave to school (just past Troy and 5 Points Rd).

Holy Spirit Geist: 10350 Glaser Way
DLX (formerly known as 465) North to 69 North. Exit 96th St. Turn right on 96th St. to Fall Creek (96th dead ends there). Turn Left on Fall Creek and go about 1 1/2 mi to O'Malia's. Allow 45 minutes to get there!

Holy Spirit Indianapolis: 7241 E. 10th St.
65 South to 70 East. 70 East to Shadeland/465 exit (#89). Exit onto Shadeland and go south to 10th St. Left on 10th to Holy Spirit. It's on the right within a mile.

CYO Center:
580 E. Stevens
Take 65 South to Ohio St. exit
Take Ohio to East St.
Left on East St. to Stevens
Left on Stevens

St. Charles (2224 E. 3rd St. Bloomington 47401): 37 South to the second Bloomington exit (St. Rd. 46 Bypass). Turn left. Follow 46 East. Turn right on 3rd. St. Charles will be 1/4 mi on left off of 3rd St. Gym is on the left. Approximate time to get there: 1 1/2 hours.

St. Rose: 114 Lancelot Dr. Franklin - 30-45 minutes to get there.
65 South to the Franklin exit. Go right or west (you're on 44). After about a mile, there's a blinking 4-way stop. Turn left - you're still on 44 - continue to stay on 44(there's one more turn). About 1/4 mi past 31 you will see Johnson Memorial Hospital (on left) and the Methodist Home(on right). Just after the red brick professional bldgs turn right.
You can also take the DLX to 31 South and then south on 31 all the way to 44. Right on 44. This takes a lot longer because of all the traffic on 31.

J.B. Stephens (1331 N. Blue Rd, Greenfield, 46140): 65 South to 70 East. Exit 104 (St. Rd 9). Right (or south) on St. Rd 9 for 1/2 mi or less. Then Left onto New Road (again about 1/2 mi). Then Right onto CR 300 E (this is Blue Rd.) Approximate time to get there: 45 minutes.

St. Philip Neri: 550 N. Rural
65 South to 70 East. Exit at Rural. Right on Rural - it's about a mile and a half.

Little Flower: 1401 N. Bosart St
65 South to 70 East. Exit at Emerson. Right on Emerson to E 16th St. Right on E. 16th St. to Bosart. Left on Bosart. (It's very near Scecina).

St. Matthew
4100 E. 56th St.
38th St. east to Fall Creek. Keep going straight - turns into SR 37. St. Matthew is on the left at 56th St.

St. Monica: 6131 N. Michigan
56th Street to Michigan Rd. Left on Michigan Rd. St. Monica is on the right

Immaculate Heart: 5692 Central Ave.
38th St. to Meridian. Left on Meridian to 57th. Right on 57th to Central. Right on Central.

Joan of Arc: 500 E. 42nd St.
38th St. to Central and left on Central 4 blocks to 42nd. (it's about 5.5 mi)

St. Malachy: 330 N. Green, Brownsburg:

74 West to Brownsburg exit (St. Rd 267) South to school. Green St. is the same as 267. Alternate route: 56th street west all the way to the end. (There's a cemetery on your right). Left at the light (267) and almost immediately, St. Malachy will be on the right.

Msgr. Downey Field:
65 South to the Raymond St. Exit. (When you get downtown, be sure you stay on 65 South. ) East on Raymond for about a mile and a half. Just past New Crown Cemetery you will see the field on the left.

All Saints:
75 N. Belleview Pl.
465 to Washington St. East on Washington to Belleview. (It's 2500 W)
Alternate: East on 34th to Moller. South on Moller to 30th. East on 30th to Lafayette Rd. South on Lafayette Rd. to 10th St. East on 10th to Belmont. Turn right on Belmont to Washington. Right on Washington to Belleview. The school is on the right in an old IPS school.

Ss. Andrew/Rita Academy:
4050 E. 38th St.
Take 38th Street east until you come to the school. It's a couple of streets past Sherman (about 8 or 9 mi). The school is on the left.

St. Lawrence
4650 N. Shadeland Ave.
65 South to 70 East
70 East to Shadeland exit (#89)
Follow signs to Shadeland Ave.
Left on Shadeland to school (it's about 3 mi) just past Gardner Park

Brebeuf High School
465 North to 86th Street
East on 86th Street to the school
