From Pastor’s Desk…
Our Journey of Lent has reached its goal of the day of resurrection. It was a time of forty days of spiritual renewal from Ash Wednesday till Holy Thursday, through our prayer, penance, and works of mercy. As part of the Lenten season, we had various devotions and spiritual activities like Lenten reflection, Way of the Cross, and Lenten supper. We were so glad to see a good number of the faithful participate in the Lenten reflections guided by the pastor and lay leaders. Moreover, the Way of the Cross and thereafter the supper were both attended by a huge number of people during our Lenten Fridays. My sentiments of gratitude go to all those who were taking the lead and volunteering in many ways. My sincere thanks to Esperanza who was helping me by preparing the venue and texts for the weekly reflections. We were helped by the reflections of Diane, Dennis, Jose Luis, Carolina, Reynaldo, Gerardo, Antonio, Salomon, Gloria, and Teodoro. Thank you all! Mary Martha in general was doing her best to make the liturgy beautiful, especially the preparation of the way of the Cross and its texts, finding our lectors, etc. Our Lenten suppers were served by the generous hearts of our various ministry leaders namely the Charismatic group, Catechists, Apostles of the word, Bienvenidos, Pro-life, and Gethsemane. Big thanks to you all!!!
The Holy Week was a very special week of our Christian faith life with beautiful liturgies with rich symbolisms, prayers, and rituals that helped us to delve deeper into the mystery of the death and resurrection of our Lord. Liturgical celebrations were long and rich and needed many volunteers without whom the smooth and non-stress celebrations were made possible. I would like to thank our Music and Liturgy Minister Mary Martha and her choir members, sacristans headed by Bern and Alma, Eucharistic Ministers, our altar servers, hospitality, and safety and security volunteers, and many more who were generous enough to assist the parish whenever we needed them. I also thank Magali and her team who made the Way of the Cross alive on Good Friday and all the catechists and catechumens for the amazing arrangements of Easter vigil celebrations.
I wish you all a blessed Easter and a graceful Easter season. May the risen Lord bless our family abundantly with the grace of Hope.

Nuestro Camino de Cuaresma ha alcanzado su meta del día de la resurrección. Fue un tiempo de cuarenta días de renovación espiritual desde el Miércoles de Ceniza hasta el Jueves Santo, a través de nuestra oración, penitencia y obras de misericordia. Como parte de la temporada de Cuaresma, tuvimos varias devociones y actividades espirituales como la reflexión de Cuaresma, las estaciones de la Cruz, (Vía Crucis), la Cena de Cuaresma. Nos alegró mucho ver que un buen número de fieles participando en las reflexiones de Cuaresma guiados por el Párroco y los líderes laicos. Además, el vía crucis y la ultima cena fueron concurridas por un gran número de personas durante nuestros viernes de Cuaresma. Mis sentimientos de gratitud van para todos aquellos que tomaron la iniciativa y se ofrecieron como voluntarios de muchas maneras. Mi más sincero agradecimiento a Esperanza que me ayudó preparando el lugar y los textos para las reflexiones semanales. En las reflexiones nos ayudo Diane, Dennis, Jose Luis, Carolina, Reynaldo, Gerardo, Antonio, Salomon, Gloria y Teodoro. ¡Gracias a todos! Mary Martha en general estaba haciendo todo lo posible para que la liturgia fuera hermosa, especialmente la preparación de las estaciones de la Cruz y sus textos, encontrar a nuestros lectores, etc. Nuestras cenas de Cuaresma fueron servidas por los corazones generosos de nuestros diversos líderes ministeriales, como, el grupo de oración carismático, Catequistas, Apóstoles de la palabra, Bienvenidos, Provida y Getsemaní. ¡¡¡Muchas gracias a todos!!!
La Semana Santa fue una semana muy especial de nuestra vida de fe cristiana con hermosas liturgias con lindos símbolos, oraciones y ritos que nos ayudaron a profundizar en el misterio de la muerte y resurrección de nuestro Señor. Las celebraciones litúrgicas fueron largas y pacíficas y necesitamos muchos voluntarios sin los cuales las celebraciones tranquilas y sin estrés fueron posibles. Quisiera agradecer a nuestra Ministra de Música y Liturgia, Mary Martha, y a los miembros de su coro, los sacristanes encabezados por Bern y Alma, los Ministros de la Eucaristía, nuestros monaguillos, los voluntarios de hospitalidad y seguridad, y muchos más que fueron lo suficientemente generosos para ayudar a la parroquia cada vez que los necesitábamos. También agradezco a Magali y su equipo que dieron vida al Vía Crucis el Viernes Santo ya todos los catequistas y catecúmenos por los increíbles arreglos de las celebraciones de la vigilia pascual.
Les deseo a todos una bendita Pascua y una elegante temporada de Pascua. Que el Señor resucitado bendiga abundantemente a nuestra familia con la gracia de la Esperanza.
